Duck Run is a little farm that has found a lovely new nest in Pittsboro, NC on lush, sprawling land with aged oak trees and two ponds. We're grateful to have landed in a gorgeous spot at the end of Johnny Burke Road.
50 ducks, 175 chickens, one cat, one puppy, five pigs, and three rabbits live here at the moment. By Spring we'll have even more pastured chickens, vegetables!, and more pigs.
The farm has produced free-range duck and chicken eggs, along with a wide variety of vegetables, and pastured pork. The 2010 season will offer the addition of pastured poultry, more pork, and a wider variety and larger volume of produce & fruits.
